Brian Kidd (born 29 May 1949) is an English football coach and former player, who won the European Cup in 1968 with Manchester United. He was most recently assistant coach of Premier League club Manchester City.
Kidd, a striker, played for Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton, Bolton Wanderers, Fort Lauderdale Strikers and the Minnesota Strikers in his footballing career.
Kidd was born in Manchester, and started playing for Manchester United as a youngster, joining the club's academy in August 1964. Two years later, he went on to become a professional player with the club.
